# Pilot intelectual properties

We are developing our own intellectual properties (IPs) to refine our value proposition and understand market dynamics. These pilot IPs serve as foundational steps in building our platform from product, transactional, audience, and compliance perspectives, and will be key milestones before opening the process to external creators.

Our initial properties are designed to be bold, imaginative, and original, showcasing the talent and potential of our team. These projects are specifically crafted at the pre-production stage to align with the 3RD UNIT launchpad process and to evolve as transmedia properties.

Here are the three initial IPs, each with a project codename:

1. Codename: **Micromegas**

A mysterious science-fiction galactic franchise inspired by the UAE's space aspirations. Drawing from our team's experience in space-themed projects, this IP blends various geographical locations, stories, and timelines. It is a mix of influences from Three-Body Problem, The Expanse, and Black Panther.

2. Codename: **Qore**

A historical, political fantasy featuring strong heroines, inspired by ancient and modern Sudanese culture. This IP aims to tell an empowering story of hope, strength, and optimism, reflecting the contrast between Sudan's ancient civilization and its modern-day challenges. It demonstrates our ability to create compelling stories from markets that are often overlooked.

3. Codename: **Oasis**

A poetic fantasy and mystic adventure inspired by Saudi Arabian culture and landmarks. Saudi Arabia is emerging as a significant destination for tourism and entertainment, and this IP seeks to bring its rich history and modernity closer to global audiences through an adventure-led narrative.

Our audience will have the opportunity to engage with these IPs as the first 3RD UNIT assets. Initially, they can express their interest (to gauge traction), followed by a formal sign-up (a declaration of intent to purchase the asset). Finally, once the asset is fully developed and compliant, they can purchase it as a fractional ownership asset.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://3rdunit.gitbook.io/3rd-unit-litepaper-december-2024/8-curatorial-thesis/pilot-intelectual-properties.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
